Just as Gold is purified in the fire, so is the soul purified in sufferings.

How often do we pray; "God, mold me and shape me", "Put me on the potters wheel", "Break me and give me a new form thats pleasing to You", "Have Your way in my life, no matter what You have to do to me".... and on and on it goes.? It's easy to pray these things. But as soon as God starts having His way, putting us through the fire to purify and see what we're made of... we push the recall button! We can't stand the heat... it's painful! But if we can just let God do "HIS THANG" and actually press through what seems to be unbearable at times..... we can come out as Gold!
